Lloyd Evans Patreoff Pool - November 2023

let's get the fun started and put in our votes for how far down the pumpkin patch lord of the fries will fall in november.. for those keeping score, last month he started at 457 patrons, did some begging and managed to bump those numbers up to 478, but as of this writing he's down to 439.. so, how well do you think the grift will continue this month?

let us know where you think he'll be on november 2. lucky number 420?

Things are still in flux. He’s currently at 437, only +2 from his low and -2 from earlier yesterday. The lack of content, lesser frequency and the resulting damage has yet to be fully realised. I am withholding my prediction until later.

This got me curious, what was his occupation when he lived in the UK, when he was a JW ?

In his book he relates that his art school degree was a general one and he failed to find a job in any related field. He worked a series of dead end office jobs obtained through a temp company. His ex-brother-in-law ran a landscaping business and Lloyd is listed on those incorporation papers, so he was involved to some extent in that.

On his long deleted translation site, he claimed he was uniquely qualified for legal translation because he worked as a filing clerk in a UK law office.

Might also be why he thinks he knows the law better than anyone.

This is why the only thing that needs to be done is to keep pointing out the things he said he did.

It is clear that he miscalculated at first. By the time he figured it out, it was too late. He attempted to normalise what he had done by fully embracing his history with sex workers. He even had something of a grin when describing how long it went back in time as if he were proud of it. The nonchalant way he informed Kim as if she had already known was a clear example of this.

Knowing Lloyd, he had probably planned this huge video when he returned, going into how sex work is normal, should be legal, and how any exJWs who opposed this, esp in Thailand, were puritanical prudes, racists and still had a great deal of residual JW thinking.

But the reaction he was getting made such a video impossible to make without alienating more of his supporters.

His livestream and the FB statement he put out days later were the closest things to the truth and because of that, ultimately did him the most damage. In the livestream he had confirmed he had seen SWs every 2-3 months for 3-4 years. In the FB statement he confirmed that he met SWs (plural) in Thailand as well.

The reality is he doesn't see anything wrong with either of those facts. He hasn't apologised because he isn't sorry. He'd do it again, albeit under a huge cloak of secrecy this time round.

He had found out the hard way that he had revealed too much and people weren't OK with this as he thought they could be manipulated into thinking. He's backed away from both statements and has never repeated them since early Feb 2022. . In March 2022 he began his deflection campaign and on the Gold interview started his "I dated a sex worker" narrative. This has mostly held until just last month when he added an adjective "briefly" to "dating". This was done on purpose and meant to further minimise what he had done.

Since he's still saying he has dated a sex worker in Thailand, I'd like to submit my drawing to the class.

What was revealed about the lawsuit is also highly damaging to him, though.

Normally so, but these Cedarites and Lloyd-adjacent people who love his videos are conditioned to believe there are a lot of fake stories about him planted. The comments on the M&K video showed a lot of that with several questioning what evidence was just placed in front of them. For some of these people, you need the dismissal for them to believe and they will get it. And there are some who would continue to pledge if Jabba the Hutt filmed himself devouring the burger joints of Zagreb.

I believe these two things happened:

Lloyd posts these “I am under attack!” videos which solidifies support and in this case resulted in a minor bump.
Many people saw a sinking ship with Tibor leaving, Lloyd obviously unstable and thus quit patronage.

The people leaving outnumbered the people joining. As a result, the -24 he suffered in the last two weeks of September was mitigated somewhat by people joining. But not enough to reverse the trend. The video did him more damage than good.

As for the court news and the future of the LE channel, the reality of what is about to happen has yet to sink in. Two half assed videos a week is going to reduce traffic there and contribute to the continued loss of support.

It’s a little bit too soon to fully gauge what just happened and the correlation with his financial support.

and finally his court case lawsuit was expose all over social media ?

The court case news was a late arrival toward the end of day on the 29th. It likely didn’t affect anything. The real news is when the case gets dismissed. That’s what will make a difference if any.

Sept was an odd month due to a mini-begging bounce because of the banner. He gained like 13 patrons overnight. It’s also likely that he got something of a pity bounce when he announced he was being attacked and had to close up his company. We didn’t see it because more were leaving than entering.
The trend is still downward and on track to go below 400 by the end of the year. That’s what we had been predicting here all along.

To kill your kids is pretty out there. I also don't think he'd kill himself.

I wasn’t suggesting he’d kill his kids, only that he’d involve them somehow in it - such as calling and saying goodbye and frequently mentioning them in a suicide note.

He alluded to a near suicide when he said that exJW activism “nearly killed me”. How true that is could be anyone’s guess but he’s already weaponised the fact he could be gone and it will be all of our fault.

But I take Simon’s point about how this ends. He won’t work and if this grift dwindles down to a solitary life in Zagreb where he’s struggling, there is no clear way out of this and he’s stuck at an advanced age making videos and writing books no one reads for peanuts.

So how does it end? I wouldn't be surprised if I opened the internet one day and read he's overdosed or blown his brains out.

He won’t go quietly and without notice. If it ever comes to that he’ll involve his kids in it someway and have a Hitleresque last statement blaming everyone for his demise.

It’s always been his M.O. to pull down the community with him if he can’t dominate it. And you are right - he’s going to have a hell of a time finding a donor base that is anywhere near the exJW one that is conditioned to direct all their loyalties to one source. I suspect he’ll continue with as little exJW content as he can get away with in order to keep those donors, primarily voicemails where he just gives his advice. He’ll be dismayed that his JW voicemail video has double or triple the views of his Hare Krishna one.
